Robert has more than 30 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), having led programs for major clients such as AT&T and the Environmental Protection Agency. He is a nationally recognized expert in safety and environmental compliance and has developed and delivered EHS seminars across the United States. Robert’s academic background includes an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a BS from Villanova University. A multiple‑startup entrepreneur, he has partnered with TL Ventures and Safeguard Scientifics. Robert founded American Compliance Systems (ACS)—originally HELP Systems—in 1990, establishing a firm focused on EHS consulting, training, and compliance services. He continues to drive the creation of new solutions to meet evolving client needs, including the innovative 5 Step Solution© to Workplace Safety process.

Events such as the Equifax data breach of 2017 and the WannaCry ransomware attack of 2017 prompted Robert to apply the 5 Step Solution© to cybersecurity.  The result of which was to start Ultimate Risk Services (URS) which provides cybersecurity compliance solutions for small to mid‑sized businesses serving the Department of Defense. He has strong expertise in cybersecurity compliance and regulatory frameworks, including NIST, CMMC, and PCI, and a deep understanding of the needs and operations of small to mid‑sized businesses.
